Mental health therapy. You are not alone.

We are glad you’re here. Taking that first step to look into services can be overwhelming and we are proud you have gotten this far.

Are you currently struggling with feeling not good enough? Maybe life is not living up to your expectations or you have certain thoughts or memories that continue to make even your best days less great. You are ready for relief, but maybe you are not even sure what that could look like. Sometimes that most difficult part is even admitting to yourself that you need support. We promise that you are not alone and that relief is possible.

Therapy can be helpful with a wide variety of concerns. Our therapists utilize evidence-based modalities to support our clients in feeling good enough and capable enough again. We solely rely on evidence-based modalities because we know that they work based on many years of research and want you to know coming in that, not only are you in good hands, but also that your investment is going to leave you feeling better.

What can I expect from therapy?

This is a great question! Maybe you have never been to therapy, or maybe you have in the past but not sure what it looks like now!

Our therapists start by simply getting to know you and building a relationship with you. Sometimes that means asking questions about your history, sometimes it means talking about a book you recently read that you connected to, or about your animals.

From there, the therapist will work with you to identify what you want out of therapy and how we get there. The therapist will work jointly with you to develop a treatment plan that you will check in on together occasionally to make sure it still makes sense for you.

After that, it is up to you and the therapist to determine the right fit as far as specific modality of therapy. Some clients come wanting a specific type, such as EMDR or Brainspotting, and others have no idea. Both are totally normal!

What states do you see clients in?

We currently see clients virtually in Minnesota, Delaware, Wisconsin, Colorado, South Carolina, Florida, and Vermont. We also have some availability for in-person appointments in our St. Paul, Minnesota location. Please note that not all of our therapists are licensed in every state. You can learn more about our therapists and their licensures here.

What are the next steps?

Contact us to set up an initial appointment. We start by getting to know you, your concerns, and how we can help. Finding the right fit with therapy is very important, so that is also something that will be talked about in your initial appointment. If this is not the right service or right fit for you, we can help with a referral to another service or provider that may be a better fit! We want you to have the best experience possible and that starts with feeling comfortable with who you are talking to!

If this is the right fit, your therapist will work with you to determine frequency and length of appointments. Typically, individuals will start with 1-hour, weekly therapy, at least initially, to really give you and the therapist a chance to get to know each other and start really working on your goals. However, frequency and duration can be very different for each client depending on specific needs and goals.
